Lauren joins the team as the Youth Services Librarian!

“I’m Lauren and I’m so excited to be the new Youth Services Librarian at the Norwich Public Library! Here are some fun things to know about me:

1. I love to knit! You’ll often see me in a hand knit sweater and I will talk your ear off about wool and sheep. 
2. My favorite children’s books are A Wrinkle in Time, the Mercy Watson series, The Wild Robot, From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs Basil E Frankweiler, Nanette’s Baguette, and Frog and Toad Are Friends. 
3. I have a degree in music theory and I’m learning to play the ukulele! 
4. This summer I saw an axolotl, a baby elephant, a pig in a bookstore, a starfish in a tide pool, and I got to hold a baby goat. 
5. This fall I’m going to see two of my favorite musicals: Come From Away at Northern Stage and Hamilton in Boston.
