International Games Month is a worldwide initiative to connect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games. NPL has been participating in the initiative since its inception – through all its forms – as a day, week, and in recent years, a whole  month.

There’s fun for all ages, through participation in our regular weekly programs or through our November special events:

Cooperative Games for Adults – Join NPL staff to learn a new game! We will have crokinole, Pandemic, and Wingspan out for play, or you can take your pick from the library’s collection of both cooperative and competitive games. Participants can also bring their own favorite from home. This is an adult event, but older teens are also welcome. Pizza and beverages will be provided, so an RSVP at this registration link would be helpful. Who knows? Maybe this could be the start of a regular game night!

Thursday, November 12, 5:30 – 7 PM  | Community Room
