Fall 2024 Reading & Discussion Series
The Friends of NPL host the Vermont Humanities Reading & Discussion series this fall.
Led by Suzanne H. Brown, Professor Emerita of English at Dartmouth College, the discussion group takes place here at NPL and is open to all. The fall’s theme is “Portraits of the Artists.” These books feature fictional interpretations of famous artists. What happens when the visual arts and the literary arts meet? How do fiction writers interpret the lives of famous painters, and the canvases they leave behind?
