Curbside Questions

The library is now open for browsing! But we are keeping “curbside” – that is, anything you place on hold will checked out to you and placed in the vestibule for easy pick up.

How do I get items for pick up?

Sign in to your account in the catalog and place a hold on the item (book, audiobook, DVD, magazine, etc.). We’ll check it out to you and put it in the vestibule for pick up the next day we are open for curbside.

Can I still get things on interlibrary loan (ILL)?

Yes! See your options here.

What are your hours for pickup?

Monday: 1 – 5:30pm
Tuesday: 10 am – 5:30pm

Wednesday: 10 am – 5:30pm
Thursday: 10 am – 7:00pm
Friday: 10 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 3:00 pm

Can I print something out, make a photocopy, or send a fax without coming in?

Yes! Contact the library to arrange for to print or make copies for you or send a fax; we’ll leave your copies or fax in the vestibule for pick up.

How do I get help with digital services?

Call 802-649-1184 or email us, we’re happy to help!

Help, what do I read next?

The staff at NPL are always ready to help you find your next read! Just ask us.

We’ve also created some curated lists of books on our Reading Suggestions page.

If you’d like to explore on your own, one good resource is the catalog! Look up a title you know you liked, click on the title to open the record, and check out the Novelist Select Read-alikes on the right side of the screen. You see lists of books, similar authors, and story elements.

If you’d like to look further afield, we recommend the NPR Book Concierge.
