The Norwich Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Operating funds come from a variety of sources; the town appropriation, the Annual Fund campaign, miscellaneous library fees, grants and investments.

Norwich Public Library Annual Appeal
The Norwich Public Library’s Annual Appeal begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th. Gifts to the Annual Appeal directly support the collections and services the library offers. This includes everything from storytime supplies to interlibrary loan postage, lectures to movie nights, books and DVDs to digital resources like Consumer Reports Online and Heritage Quest. All contributions to the Annual Appeal are tax-deductible.
Please consider making a gift to the Norwich Public Library through your will. You may designate a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the estate, a piece of property, or any other specified gift. These gifts are fully deductible for federal estate tax purposes at the time of distribution.
