Zoom Chat with a Librarian
Norwich Public Library introduces Zoom Chat with a Librarian
Chat in a Group Setting
On three separate days weekly, Norwich Public Library will offer our community an opportunity to chat in a group setting with a librarian via the Zoom platform. The chat opportunities are endless! Looking for book recommendations, information on how to download an e-Resource or just wanting to check-in and reconnect? Zoom chat with a librarian!
Chat with a Librarian requires registration with a name and an email address. After registering, Zoom will send information on how to join the chat.
Tuesday, 1 – 3 pm. Register in advance for this session with Technical Services Librarian Nancy Fontaine.
Thursday, 10 am – 12 pm. Director Lucinda Walker is available to chat with advanced registration
Saturday, 10 am – 12 pm. Spend some of your Saturday with Assistant Director Lisa Milchman by registering in advance.
If you looking for a one-on-one opportunity to get “hands” on experience with library e-Resources, individual appointments can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. With Zoom, librarians or patrons can “share” their computer screen with each other, which provides an opportunity to see what each other are seeing “live.”
