Return of the Peeps

Peep-le get ready—NPL’s annual Peeps Diorama contest is back! In case you missed it, this is a sweet yearly event where you’re invited to use the famous marshmallow critters to build a three-dimensional tableau based on something you could find at the library. Your creations will be on display at the library, and the community will vote for their favorites.

Past creations include Star Trek: The Peep GenerationLittle Peeps on the Prairie, and Everyone Peeps. There are three categories for entrants: Adult/Teen, Children (12 and younger), and Group/Family, so everyone can participate. To get inspired, you can check out previous years’ entries on our facebook page.

Peeps are popping a bit earlier than usual this year. We’ll be posting official guidelines soon, but here are some dates to keep in mind in the meantime:

March 14th 1:00-3:00 p.m.: Kids’ Peeps Diorama-Building Party

March 25th-26th, March 28th until 4:59 p.m.: Diorama submissions accepted at the library

March 28th at 5:00-March 31st: Voting on best dioramas in each category. Let your peep be heard!

April 1st: Winners announced.

We’re looking forward to another Peep-ful spring at the library!
