Reading & Discussion Series

The Friends of NPL host the Vermont Humanities Council’s Reading & Discussion series this spring. Sign up today – the books are here!

Led by Suzanne H. Brown, Professor of English emerita at Dartmouth College, the discussion group takes place here at NPL and is open to all. The theme this spring is “Based on a Real Life”, with two Pulitzer Prize-winning books selected from the Vermont Humanities catalog.

Monday March 6th & Monday March 27th, 7-8:30 PM: All the King’s Men by Robert Penn Warren (fiction, 1947)

Monday April 17th & Monday May 1st, 7-8:30 PM: Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner (fiction, 1972)
