Vermont Health Connect
In Vermont, Health Insurance enrollment is through Vermont Health Connect. “Vermont Health Connect is a way to choose a health plan that fits your needs and your budget. Both private and public plans are available. All of the plans offered through Vermont Health Connect offer the same quality benefits – including doctor visits, hospital stays, preventative care, and prescription coverage.”
Important Dates for Vermont residents:
November 1, 2019 – Open enrollment begins for coverage in 2020
December 15 – Open enrollment period ends for coverage in 2020

In Windsor and Norwich, Samantha Ball, Coordinator, Windsor Community Health Clinic, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, will present the latest updates for the 2020 Open Enrollment season through Vermont Health Connect. Topics in this information session will include a review of health insurance basics, an overview and comparison of plans offered by Vermont Health Connect, some strategies for plan selection, and a discussion on new developments for 2020. There will an opportunity to have your questions answered!
