We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you at these upcoming December events.
Kids Movie Night: Toy Story 4
Thursday, December 5, 6:00 showtime
Norwich Square stores are open late to accommodate holiday shopping. Why not drop the kids off for a movie while you get some holiday shopping done? Popcorn and juice box will be served. All ages are welcome, but kids younger than five should watch the film with an adult caregiver.
Crafternoon: Holiday Card Making
Wednesday, December 4, Drop-in, 2:30 – 4:00 pm
Join us for a crafternoon of holiday card making! We will have a number of different styles of holiday cards that participants can create and decorate. Each participant is welcome to make and take home 2 cards from this session. Because of the intricacy of some of the cards designs, children ages 8 and younger must have a caregiver available to help them with the craft.

Come and make simple ornaments to celebrate the winter season. Each child is welcome to make two ornaments to take home. Children ages 8 and younger are required to have an adult caregiver in attendance to help them with the craft.

Conversational Intelligence Workshop for the Holidays
Thursday, December 19, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Do you wish you knew how to chat with a cranky cousin or an argumentative Aunt this holiday season? Are there ways to talk through difficult topics and work towards conversational intelligence (C-IQ)?
Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ) is the hardwired and learnable ability to connect, navigate and grow with people of different mindsets, under any circumstance. This can be a big challenge at holiday gatherings, and it is a necessity in building healthier and more resilient families and communities in the face of change. – Judith E. Glaser
Join us for a fun evening to discuss easy ways to find common ground. You’ll be out of your chair and developing new conversational skills in the first 15 minutes!
Led by Deb Shannon, certified C-IQ® consultant.
Holiday Cheer Gathering
Friday, December 20, Drop-in, 3:30 – 5:30
We’ll provide tea, cocoa and snacks, music appropriate to the season, and, of course, the virtual yule-log. Visit in a relaxed and stress-free atmosphere with the staff, your friends and neighbors. All are welcome.
