- Special projects to support continuing education and learning for all patrons of the Library
- Fundraising to underwrite special Library projects and initiatives.
Some of the projects we have sponsored in the past:
- First Wednesdays lecture series
- Adult book discussion series
- Summer reading program for younger patrons
- Adult and children's audiobooks
- New York Times subscription
Fundraising events sponsored by the Friends of the NPL include:
- Book sales
- Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale
- Rubber Ducky Race
The Friends meet on the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. at the Library. Everyone is welcome to attend.
We are looking for a few good volunteers…what are your interests? Do you have limited free time, which would benefit our library? Do you have ideas for new fundraisers? Ideas for new library project that we could support? Please contact the Friends HERE for more information about the Friends of the NPL or our events.
