A couple of years ago, the library began shelving all of the cookbooks together in one room. For us, the next logical step has always been to offer cooking items and bakeware available for loan. We’re excited to share with you that we’re one step closer to that goal!
Think of it: someone in your life wants a special shaped cake, you’re eager to try out a new recipe, or maybe you just want to find out what the big fuss is about zoodles. Rather than purchasing a special piece of equipment that you might not use that much in the future, you can borrow it from the library.
We’re still in the beginning stages, gathering items and planning logistics, but we hope to begin offering these items to you beginning next month.
Right now, we already have a cake pop maker, an ice cream maker, a mini heart cake pan, and a spiralizer. We’re excited to add more items to this growing collection, and we’re accepting donations of new and gently used items. So if you have a teddy bear cake pan you no longer need, some cookie cutters that you don’t use as much as you once did, or any of the items listed below—or if you have a suggestion for something you’d like to see in the collection—please get in touch with us!
